Seems like a long time since my Sunday consisted of a banging headache and a trickling sense of dread that only comes with 'hitting the town'. These days, I can be found out the door and in my studio by 10am. Drinking coffee and listening to Radio 6, stocking the kiln and painting joyful things. Oh it's nice to be a grown up. Happy Sunday!
I love it when a scene emerges subconsciously. The painting above is a homage to my happy times in Scotland. My brothers out fishing on the lake, climbers setting out up mountains, off on brisk adventures. The happy face is me, in my element. Loving the bonny lands.
The sunlight today is quite beautiful. You can't not be inspired in this place. Who needs crazy weekends when you've got this. Time to get the fire on!
